It's finale time again folks. Here's your squee post for The Name of the Doctor which is on at 7.00pm. Tonight, we may or may not find out the Doctor's greatest secret (in fact, I propose a betting pool as to how Moffat might get around revealing it. My money's on Convenient Interruption by Injury as previously seen in Dragonheart).

As always, squee, complain, or dive behind the sofa.

Afterwards I'm sitting down with the family to watch Eurovision with the subtitles on (hence the icon) - if you're in Europe and have never actually tried the translations option, you're seriously missing out. One year a song turned out to be about tomatoes.

Here's your squee post for Nightmare in Silver, which is on at 7.00pm tonight. I might be wrong, but I think this is the first time Doctor Who has aired at 7pm in years.

Squee, complain or dive behind the sofa. Not going to lie, I'm a teensy bit excited for this one.

Here's your squee post for The Crimson Horror, which is on at 6.30pm.

Squee, complain or dive behind the sofa.

I, meanwhile, will be celebrating the return of Madame Vastra, Jenny and Strax, AKA the most awesome Victorian crime-fighting team ever. If we can't get a full spin-off, could we at least have a comic series? Pretty please?

Here's your squee post for Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS, which is on at 6.30pm. Where the interior may or may not look like M.C. Esher and there's something strange roaming the corridors (maybe we'll find out what happened to that one Cyberman from Earthshock).

Squee, complain or dive behind the sofa.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go and bludgeon the theme song from the Willy Fog 2 cartoon out of my head (and it'll be your own fault if you decide to google it and get it stuck in your head. Just saying).

Here's your squee post for Hide, which is one at 6.46pm (hooray for a later start time). This promises to be a scary one, although I'm not sure how scared I will be, since my sister introduced me to freeware 16-bit horror games recently, and believe me, those are going to take some beating in the "terrifying" department.

Squee, complain or dive behind the sofa.

Here's your squee for Cold War, on at 6.00pm. A Doctor, an impossible girl and an Ice Warrior walk onto a Russian nuclear submarine in the 80's. It's either the setup to a joke or the trigger for World War Three, and this is probably the only show where either outcome is equally plausible.

Squee, complain or dive behind the sofa. Or, if you have a history nerd in your household like I do, be prepared to gag them if you want some peace.

Here's your Squee post for The Rings of Aknaten, which is on at 6.15pm. No commentary or remarks today as I've been out all day and am typing this on my iPod (no easy task by a long shot).

Squee, complain or dive behind the sofa.

After an unexpected absence over Christmas (life decided to throw the mother of all curve balls and I completely forgot about it), the squee post returns for The Bells of St John at 6.15pm. We finally met Clara properly and there's monsters in the wifi. I think so on the latter, anyway - circumstances these past few months mean I haven't been paying as much attention to the series news as I usually do.

Squee, complain or dive behind the sofa.

Here's your squee post for The Angels Take Manhattan, which is on at 7.20pm. Tonight we welcome back the Weeping Angels, River Song, and bide adieu to the Ponds. Not necessarily in that order; this is Moffat after all. Knowing him the episode will probably play out in reverse.

Squee, complain, empty the box of tissues or dive behind the sofa. I've been avoiding spoilers, but I have it on authority (and by that I mean "I heard it from our co-mod") that I'll need to issue an official Brown Alert. You may also experience Very, Very Localised Flooding, so please take all necessary precautions.

Here's your squee post for The Power of Three, on at 7.30pm GMT. This is probably the episode I know the least about beforehand, aside from the fact that the title keeps making me think of Charmed (blame my mother, she got hooked on it a few months back).

Squee, complain or dive behind the sofa. Although I suppose the last one would only be necessary if you happen to have a deathly fear of small black boxes.

Bit late this week as I've been at a convention all day, but here's your squee post for A Town Called MaliceMercy, which is on at 7.35pm GMT.

Squee, complain or dive behind the sofa. Had I thought ahead, I would have also made a bingo card for every time you hear or see someone in fandom make a reference to Red Dwarf/Blazing Saddles/Back To The Future/Cowboys and Aliens/etc.

Here's your squee post for Dinosaurs on a Spaceship. Like Snakes on a Plane, but with considerably less f-bombing (not counting the ones from the audience).

It's on at , on at 7.35 tonight UK time. Squee, complain or dive behind the sofa. Okay, maybe not the last one; unless we get a Tomb Raider-esque moment involving a T-Rex or there's a field of long grass hiding a load of raptors, the odds of this one being frightening are a bit slim.

Incidentally, this isn't the first time the BBC have put dinosaurs in space: Red Dwarf taught us what happens when a T-Rex eats a vindaloo (among other things) way back in 1999. Um, yeah.

After a long wait, Doctor Who is back and this comm comes out of its semi-hibernation.

Asylum of the Daleks is on at 7.20pm UK time, and 9.00pm for the US. If anyone remembers the other premiere times, let me know.

While we're waiting, why not catch up on Pond Life? (goes to the BBC's Doctor Who yt playlist. I don't know where any region-free uploads are) And if you hear a high-pitched noise during the episode, do not adjust your sets; it's just my brother the Dalek fanatic. I'll be spending the rest of the evening peeling him off the ceiling.

And as always: squee, complain or dive behind the sofa.

PS: True story - I was planning on kick-starting this place ready for the new serieds earlier this week, but I was thwarted by a combination of New Toy Syndrome (shiiiiiiny Cintiq...) and walking into a door.
